Patrol Officer

A patrol officer is a law enforcement professional who enforces laws and ordinances, maintains order, and protects people and property.

Detective/Investigator

Work for law enforcement agencies, such as police departments, and investigate serious crimes like homicides, assaults, and robberies. Detectives have the legal authority to arrest criminals and suspects.

SWAT Team Member

A SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics) officer is a member of a police unit that responds to high-risk situations that are beyond the capabilities of regular police: Hostage or barricade situations, Active shooters, Counterterrorism efforts, Hazardous material situations, and High-risk search and seizure operations.

K-9 Unit Officer

A K-9 officer, also known as a canine officer or K-9 handler, is a law enforcement officer who works with a trained police dog to assist with drug detection, explosive identification, cadaver location, along with pursuit and apprehension of suspects.
