Policing While Black and Female: Five Voices from the Field
With more departments pledging to the 30x30 initiative, women are expected to enter law enforcement at ratees higher than ever before. Women in law enforcement still feel like there are unfair barriers they must overcome, and are still second to their male counterparts. This articles walks through some of the challenges that five Black female supervisors face on the job.
