California PD Launches Vigorous LGBT Recruitment Outreach
A campaign was launched by a police department in the Silicon Valley area to actively help recruit individuals in the LGBT community. The campaign illustrates three families, two of which are members of the community and one of the goals of the campaign is to acknowledge and address any concerns members within the LGBT community have. Along with the campaign, the police department will partake in projects to increase their cultural competency and understand the issues and crimes experienced.
